This year marked a new experience for the Gatherers’ Tavern team as we attended our first card show at KYOcards SG. Unlike many of the events we usually attend, this show focused heavily on Pokémon trading cards, with vendors offering booster packs, singles, and collectibles.
We went in unsure of how the crowd would respond. Our products focus on accessories rather than the cards themselves, but we were excited to take part and see how the community would engage.

As the doors opened, the hall gradually filled with collectors, traders, and enthusiasts. What started as a quiet morning quickly became a busy space, with visitors opening packs, searching for cards, and sharing the experience with friends. The response exceeded our expectations. Visitors were curious about our products, spending time at the booth exploring, asking questions, and trying everything for themselves.

For this event, we highlighted our in-house DOMARU line.
At the booth, visitors explored our 4-pocket and 9-pocket DOMARU Deco Patch Binders, available in Crimson Glow, Turquoise Loch, Mountain Mist, and Dusky Ochre. The binders drew attention from collectors who were curious about the customizable Velcro patches on the binders.
Alongside the binders, we showcased our DOMARU sleeves, including Core Fit, Armored Fit, and Regular Fit options. Visitors were able to feel the texture and quality firsthand.
We also brought our DOMARU Armory Collection, featuring Horizon sideloading formats for 100+ and 133+ cards, along with a preview of the Vertical 100+ design.
One of the most rewarding parts of the event was seeing how visitors engaged with the products firsthand.
Many visitors were curious about our products, which led to conversations about our design process and the thinking behind our lines.
Visitors tried out the Velcro patches on the binders, felt the materials of the sleeves, and tested the magnetic closure of the DOMARU Armory.
Among the products on display, the binders and DOMARU boxes quickly became crowd favorites, especially among collectors looking for something different. Many commented on the clean and premium feel, while others were drawn to the Velcro patches.

We also brought along a selection of licensed products.
These included our Avatar DOMARU boxes, inspired by the four elements from Avatar: The Last Airbender: Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. We also showcased our Lorwyn Eclipsed DOMARU boxes, featuring Morningtide White, Brine Blue, Eventide Black, Cinder Red, and Bloomseeker Green.
Our Appa and Momo ARTY boxes also drew strong attention. Many visitors stopped when they spotted them, picking them up and recognizing the characters right away.
Seeing those moments of recognition and connection was especially meaningful for us.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of KYOcards SG and share our products with the community. As we often attend events around the world, this was a meaningful chance for us to connect with a different segment of the community.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, tried out our products, or shared a conversation with us. We look forward to more card shows ahead and hope to see you again at the next gathering.
